WESTSIDE WISEMEN: 3 dudes, 3 walks of life, delivered to you by way of the Westside, coming together to bring you 1 Monster Mash-up, Awesome Cover Band.
Westside Wisemen:
Westside Wisemen is a multi-genre band from Los Angeles, California. Ronnie Nells, Kevin Kim, Reed Puckett and Lance Tamanaha began as friends that met on the west side of LA.  After realizing that they were all musicians, the group soon formed and started playing local gigs.  Quickly becoming known for their unique mash-ups and vocal arrangements, Westside Wisemen took a residency at the oldest live music venue on the west side, Harvelle's in Santa Monica, and have not looked back.
Their first EP, None The Wiser, is a 6-song record they released recently showing off their sound and range.  You can count on a Wisemen show always to be filled with energy, jokes and good times.  They love what they are doing and it shows.
Bodhi Rock: "Bodhi is the opposite of ignorance, the insight into reality which destroys mental afflictions and brings peace...." Bodhi Rock (pronounced Bow - as in "Bowtie" - dee) is a collaboration of working LA musicians who came together in late 2009 to push the boundaries of roots music. Their unique sound combines elements of a funk, R & B, rock, jazz and more to form the roots fusion that is Bodhi Rock. All the members are close friends who came together in the Citrus College music program and have very extensive and diverse musical training. The Members of Bodhi Rock have worked with known LA bands and touring acts including Gwen Stefani, Tribal Seeds, Matisyahu, Pato Banton, Natural Vibrations, Frankie Paul, Quinto Sol, The Dirty Heads, Mike Pinto, and many more The band released its first single "Cali Life" in 2010 which was mixed and produced by John Avila (Oingo Boingo, Reel Big Fish, Quetzal). They would then follow up the next near with the release of their first EP in June of 2011. Meanwhile, Bodhi Rock has been performing all around California. Sharing the stage with artists such as Katchafire, Ooklah the Moc, Rootz Underground, Collie Buddz, The Wailing Souls, Sly and Robbie, and more.. They have been the only band to perform at the Topanga Reggae Pon Di Mountain Festival three years in a row! The musical mission is simple and straight forward; to take roots music to new heights while bringing the Bodhi peace of mind to the body and soul!
