Since the band’s inception in 2011, The Groove has developed into a multi-faceted entertainment experience. The Groove prides itself in having its own fresh approach to songs from artists we all know and love and to a diverse sound of the band’s own creativity and songs.
The Groove’s first worldwide music release Rise and Shine includes six original compositions and a deep cut “I’ve Got a Feeling” by the Beatles from the Let It Be album. The John Lennon and Paul McCartney penned song was recorded during the famous “rooftop” performance. Rise and Shine has a hard rock/blues vibe.
Experience all that is groovy and see what fans of The Groove have come to know over hundreds of shows… The Groove is a great band and continues to grow and evolve.
The Groove features lead singing drummer Janna Brunner, lead singing bassist Phil Salvail and guitarist, backing vocalist Mark Sepulveda. The band became known for playing covers from “Al Green to Green Day” including deep classic rock tracks to current songs that currently make up their repertoire. AND, The Groove also has released a CD of their own material titled “Rise and Shine.”
The Groove can fill an entire night with music as well as showcasing as an opener for a national act. Based in Southern California, The Groove has played more than 250 shows since it’s inception in 2011. The Groove has had the pleasure of playing the OC Fair in 2017 & 2018 as well as playing club dates from San Francisco to South Orange County and out to Riverside County.
