SPAGHETTI WESTERN Music Event!

Desert Undertones is an instrumental surf rock band from Tucson, AZ. The band incorporates the classic 60’s vibe of artists like The Ventures and Dick Dale as well as many of the 2nd and 3rd wave bands such as Jon & the Nightriders, Insect Surfers and Los Straitjackets. There is also a western influence hearkening back to spaghetti western film soundtracks.

 Named after the diminutive and once ubiquitous Eastern European automobile, Trabants (pronounced Truh-bonts) is a rotating line-up of musicians fronted by composer/guitarist Eric Penna  who find their muse in the dusty bins of 60's beat records.  They play an instrumental mix of vintage-inspired surf, garage and psych with a cinematic twist that has found broad use in film, television and advertising 

INSECT SURFERS are "Planet Earth's Longest- Running Modern Surf Band". Established in 1979 in Washington DC, Insect Surfers have been rocking the Los Angeles area since 1986.They have since been featured on bills with such artists as Chris Isaak, B-52's, Jonathan Richman, Pylon, The Ventures, Dick Dale, Surfaris, etc. and have toured both the USA and Europe.
