FREEDOM HEARTSONG

Freedom Heartsong is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and multimedia artist whose music flows from the soul, blending blues, rock, and folk with a spiritual intensity that feels both timeless and urgently present. Known for his electrifying live performances and dynamic power trio shows, he has shared lineups with The Beach Boys, WAR, Canned Heat, and Cheap Trick to name a few, building a devoted fanbase through heartfelt songwriting, virtuosic guitar work, and uplifting, emotionally resonant energy. Released via Dark Star Records through Sony/The Orchard, his previous music has earned GRAMMY ballot recognition on two occasions: first for the 2020 single “Ecstatic Magic” from his debut EP Get a Heart On, and again for “Evil Grieves” from his 2022 album The Humane Experience.

Heartsong’s forthcoming album, The Revelation of Freedom Heartsong (June 26, 2026), marks a new chapter in his artistic evolution, bringing reflective, melodic folk-rock together with the fire, authenticity, and heart that define his sound. Anchored by originals such as “Shooting Stars” and “Don’t Forget To Live,” and featuring reinterpretations of Tom Petty’s “You Don’t Know How It Feels” and Neil Young’s “Old Man,” the album continues his exploration of presence, perseverance, and the liberating power of love.

Raised along Virginia’s southeastern coastline, Heartsong grew up immersed in salt air, infinite horizons, and the rhythmic pulse of the Atlantic — landscapes that continue to echo through his music. Rooted in Italian-American heritage and shaped by generations of vibrant New York family gatherings, he carries forward a deep reverence for beauty, connection, and expressive living.

Drawing early inspiration from Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty, and Bob Marley, he picked up the guitar at age nine and began writing songs in elementary school. Known for composing entire songs in single lightning-strike sittings, Heartsong approaches songwriting as a channeling process. “More penning than writing,” he says, emptying himself of ego to allow melody, lyric, and spirit to flow freely. Music, for him, is a vehicle for awakening: to the self, to others, and to something greater. As he puts it, his work is about “inspiration, realization, and ultimately connection to Great Spirit; when people hear a song, or see a work of art that I have made, I hope it lights a fire in their heart to shine their light as bright as possible, to live the life of their dreams and be their very best.”
