KALVIN LOVE and MAKEDA MANNE

with MAKEDA MANNE

Kalvin Love is an artist and visionary dedicated to spreading love, unity, and positive energy through music and community. Inspired by his father, Snoop Dogg, and raised in an environment rich with music, creativity, and entrepreneurship, Kalvin developed a passion for using art as a way to connect people and inspire change.

His music reflects his belief in authenticity, inclusivity, and the power of self-expression. Drawing from his West Coast roots, his deep love of reggae, and his personal journey, Kalvin creates a sound that blends raw emotion with a message of love and empowerment.

Beyond the music, Kalvin is a passionate surfing enthusiast and cyclist who finds inspiration and balance in the ocean waves and on the open road. These pursuits fuel his creativity and keep him grounded, shaping the energy and perspective he brings into his music.

As he begins his music career, Kalvin is committed to breaking barriers, challenging stereotypes, and uplifting his listeners. Whether performing live, collaborating with other artists, or connecting with fans, Kalvin Love’s mission is simple — to bring people together, inspire growth, and create a world where everyone feels a sense of belonging. The 31-year-old artist-songwriter from L.A. started making music at 16, but for years he did it privately. Even when he had early access to the industry through his father, Snoop Dogg, Kalvin wasn’t trying to be a star—he was still figuring out his voice.

Over the next 13 years, confidence grew, his songwriting evolved, and once he formed a band with a group of Long Beach friends who could really play his material, he started to want the live moment. That’s when the music stopped being “a private thing” and started turning into a real show.

His breakout concert last December at The Mint in L.A. is the proof point promoters care about. The room was packed, the dance floor was active, and the vibe was undeniable—people le  smiling, and the reaction online was loud. It wasn’t just “good for a new act,” it was the kind of set that generates rave reviews, reposts, and word of-mouth, which is exactly what you want when you’re paying an act: something that makes the night feel like a win and markets itself afterward.

MAKEDA MANNE

Makéda Manne is a Paris-born songwriter and musician, exploring indie/alternative music with softrock undertones. Her writing is driven by an obsession with sonic detail : textured guitars, warm basslines, intimate close-miked vocals carried by a distinctly analog aesthetic.

Before launching her solo project, she built her live experience with the band Horizon Louange, performing in renowned venues in Europe such as Le Trianon, Les Folies Bergère, and the Zénith d’Auvergne.

She also toured with artist Dope Saint Jude as a DJ, appearing at festivals including Dour and Fête de l’Humanité. These live experiences now shape her approach to sound, energy, and audience connection.

Her new 7-track EP, Field Notes on Being Here, due for release in March 2026, was recorded in London at Studio 123. Coproduced with Brett Shaw (Foals, Florence + the Machine, Daughter…), the project took shape through an almost handcrafted approach to sound—using a tape machine, organic recording techniques, and a pursuit of texture and deliberately embraced imperfections. Each song is conceived as part of a single whole: a collection of life fragments, doubts, quiet joys, and intimate tensions. Balancing melodic clarity with darker atmospheres, Makéda Manne writes songs that move with gentle yet determined steps. Field Notes on Being Here captures that precise moment when an artist finds her voice as much as her sound: an indie/alternative world that is warm, raw, and fully owned.
